Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field

3–5 years of experience in tendering and project quantity surveying

Experience in construction and/or M&E industry is preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD and quantity surveying software

Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills

Good interpersonal and coordination skills

Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Able to meet tight tender deadlines

Prepare cost estimates, project budgets, Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and tender submissions

Carry out quantity take-offs and cost analysis based on project drawings and specifications

Source, evaluate and negotiate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors

Prepare and certify subcontractor progress claims

Handle variation orders (VOs), interim payments and final accounts

Liaise with project teams, consultants, clients, subcontractors and suppliers

Monitor market pricing and material cost trends

Support competitive tendering and project budgeting

Review project drawings, specifications and tender requirements

Maintain accurate cost and quantity records

Assist in managing project costs and procurement matters
