Position Overview

We are looking for interns with a background in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields to join our Facility & Maintenance Department.

Candidates pursuing a Diploma, Degree, or Certificate in a relevant electrical field are welcome to apply.

The intern will assist the maintenance team with electrical wiring, cable installation, equipment relocation, troubleshooting, and general electrical maintenance work. Candidates with basic hands-on wiring and electrical installation skills are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in electrical wiring, cable installation, termination, and routing for machines and electrical equipment.
• Support electrical installation and modification work, including control panels, switches, sockets, and lighting systems.
• Assist in panel wiring, cable connections, and basic electrical circuit assembly.
• Support troubleshooting of electrical faults in production machines and facility equipment.
• Assist in inspecting and maintaining motors, sensors, relays, switches, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
• Read and understand basic electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and circuit schematics.
• Assist in machine installation, equipment relocation, and electrical modification projects.
• Support preventive maintenance activities and routine electrical inspections.
• Assist in checking electrical connections and wiring conditions under the supervision of the maintenance team.
• Help update electrical drawings, equipment records, and maintenance reports.
• Follow electrical safety procedures and company requirements when carrying out electrical work.

Skills & Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or holding a Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Electrical Installation, or a related field.
• Candidates with relevant electrical skills certificates, such as SKM in Electrical Installation or related electrical courses, are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of electrical wiring, cable termination, and electrical installation.
• Familiarity with electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and circuit schematics.
• Basic understanding of electrical panels, motors, relays, sensors, and circuit breakers.
• Familiarity with electrical tools and testing instruments, such as multimeters, is an advantage.
• Knowledge of control panel wiring, PLC, or industrial automation is an added advantage.
• Willing to perform hands-on electrical work and learn from the maintenance team.
• Responsible, safety-conscious, and able to work well with others.
