Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Teacher to join JY Tuition & Day Care Centre. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering quality education, guiding students in their learning journey and maintaining a positive and supportive classroom environment.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in a tuition centre or educational institution.

• Proficient in Mandarin for effective communication and teaching.

• Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.

• Passionate about teaching and helping students achieve their academic goals.

• Good communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.

• Patient, responsible and able to work independently or as part of a team.

• Possess a relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education.

• Working Days & Hours: Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 3:00 PM)

• Plan and conduct engaging lessons according to students' learning needs and abilities.

• Monitor students' academic progress and provide guidance to improve their performance.

• Prepare teaching materials, lesson plans and educational activities.

• Maintain a positive, safe and supportive learning environment.

• Communicate with parents regarding students' progress, performance and areas for improvement.

• Guide and support junior teachers when required.

• Assist in managing daily classroom activities and ensuring smooth centre operations.

• Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
