Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Selangor, Malaysia for a Business Development & Procurement Executive. The role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities within the aerospace spare parts marketplace, including prospecting potential clients and nurturing leads. Daily responsibilities include managing key accounts, coordinating procurement activities, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely sourcing of aviation components. The Executive will collaborate with internal teams to align commercial strategies, prepare proposals and quotations, and maintain accurate records of sales and purchasing activities. The role also includes monitoring market trends, building strong customer and supplier relationships, and supporting continuous improvement of procurement and business development processes.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in New Business Development and Lead Generation for identifying opportunities and expanding the client base.
• Candidates should possess Business and Account Management skills to manage relationships, negotiate terms, and support long-term partnerships.
• Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for interacting with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Proactive, organised and commercially minded, with consistent follow-up.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Relevant experience in aviation, aircraft parts trading, MRO, procurement or business development is preferred.
• Strong English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Selangor, Malaysia, and collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Proficiency in standard office software and familiarity with ERP or procurement systems is an advantage.
