Key Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new customers, particularly SMEs requiring import customs clearance and delivery services.
• Understand customer requirements and collect shipment details for quotation preparation.
• Communicate with shipping agents, transporters and logistics partners to obtain rates and coordinate service arrangements.
• Negotiate rates with partners within approved cost and service guidelines.
• Follow up with customers to secure bookings and confirm service requirements.
• Prepare complete job information, documents and cost details before handing over confirmed shipments to the Operations team.
• Maintain customer relationships, follow up on repeat business and achieve sales and gross profit targets.
• Coordinate with Operations when clarification is needed, while allowing Operations to take responsibility for shipment execution after handover.

Requirements

• Experience in freight forwarding, logistics sales, customer service or shipment coordination is preferred.
• Familiar with quotations, shipment documentation and communication with logistics partners.
• Strong communication, negotiation and follow-up skills.
• Able to manage multiple enquiries and work independently.
• Proactive in acquiring new customers and developing repeat business.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Training will be provided for suitable candidates who are eager to learn.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
