Professional Summary:

Join Singlife as a Technology Governance Intern and gain hands-on exposure to how technology risk, controls and responsible AI are managed in a financial services environment. In this role, you will support the team in reviewing processes, organising risk information and exploring simple ways to use data, automation and AI to make work easier and more effective. You will work with a collaborative team that values curiosity, ownership and learning while building practical skills that can support your future career.

Responsibilities:

• Support the team in understanding current Technology Governance processes and identifying tasks that can be simplified or automated.

• Help organise, review and analyse risk, control and issue-related information to spot trends, gaps or items that may need to be followed-up.

• Explore simple data, automation or AI-enabled prototypes using approved tools to improve how the team works.

• Assist with documentation, templates, testing and feedback to ensure solutions are clear, practical and easy to use.

• Support day-to-day governance activities, including tracking open actions, preparing information and learning how technology risks are managed responsibly.

Requirements:

• Education: Currently pursuing a diploma in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Business IT, AI, or a related field.

• Skills: Basic experience with tools such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power Automate, Power BI, Python or other data/automation tools would be helpful, but not a must.

• Interest: Curious about technology, data, AI and how they can be used responsibly to solve real business problems.

• Mindset: Comfortable working with information, spotting details and summarising findings in a clear and organised way.

• Teamwork: Willing to learn, ask questions and collaborate with others in a supportive team environment.
