responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of goods and materials using commercial trucks or heavy vehicles

Core Responsibilities

• Vehicle Operation: Safely drive and maneuver rigid trucks or lorries across local, regional, or interstate routes.

• Loading & Unloading: Assist or supervise the loading, securing, balancing, and offloading of cargo to prevent damage.

• Inspection & Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks (tires, brakes, fluid levels, lights) and report mechanical defects.

• Documentation: Verify delivery orders, invoices, transfer documents, and obtain signed proofs of delivery or customer stamps.

• Route Planning: Plan efficient travel paths using GPS or maps while factoring in traffic, weather, weight limits, and delivery schedules.

• Compliance: Adhere to national traffic laws, road safety regulations, and local licensing requirements (such as holding a valid GDL in Malaysia).

• Customer Service: Interact professionally with warehouse staff, suppliers, and clients during pickups and drop-offs.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

• Licensing: Valid commercial driving license appropriate for the vehicle class (e.g., Class D and GDL / GDL E license in Malaysia).

• Experience: Prior experience in lorry driving, haulage, or warehouse logistics (often Prior experience in lorry driving, haulage, or warehouse logistics (often 1–2 years preferred).

• Physical Fitness: Ability to perform manual handling, heavy lifting, and long hours in the vehicle.

• Soft Skills: Reliability, punctuality, basic record-keeping, and good situational awareness on the road

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
