About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Executive, Legal & Compliance to support Legal & Compliance Senior Manager in managing regulatory compliance, AML/CFT and compliance risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep up with BNM and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct compliance reviews and checks.
• Identify compliance risks and follow up on corrective actions.
• Advise the business on regulatory and compliance matters.
• Support AML/CFT activities, including CDD, EDD and sanctions screening.
• Review and update compliance policies and procedures.
• Prepare regulatory reports and submissions.
• Support compliance training, investigations and incident management.
• Conduct due diligence on vendors and third parties.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Law.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in Compliance, AML/CFT, Risk, Audit or Legal/Regulatory Affairs.
• Experience in a BNM-regulated financial institution is preferred.
• Knowledge of FSA 2013, AMLA, BNM requirements, PDPA and MACC Act.
• Financial services, automotive financing or hire purchase experience is an advantage.
• Good communication, analytical and report-writing skills.
• High integrity, good judgement and attention to detail.
• Professional certifications such as CAMS, ICA or CFE are an advantage.

Pay: RM4,100.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
