Requirements

· Minimum qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a relevant field

· At least 3 years of teaching experience

· Good Spoken English

· Experience or qualifications in Special Needs Education

· Passionate, patient, and committed to working with students with diverse learning needs

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Responsible, professional, and able to work effectively as part of a team

Job Descriptions:

• IEP Development & Management: Design, implement, and periodically update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's goals and needs.
• Curriculum & Lesson Adaptation: Modify standard coursework, learning materials, and teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Individualized Instruction: Teach students individually, in small groups, or within inclusive general education classrooms using specialized instructional techniques.
• Assessment & Progress Tracking: Evaluate academic and behavioral progress, maintain detailed educational records, and adjust instruction based on data.
• Behavioral Support & Interventions: Develop behavior management strategies, implement positive behavioral interventions, and maintain classroom safety and structure.
• Collaborative Care: Work closely with general education teachers, speech therapists, occupational therapists, school psychologists, and parents to support holistic development.
• Assistive Technology Integration: Utilize adaptive equipment and assistive technologies (e.g., communication devices, specialized software) to support student learning.
• Life Skills Education: Teach daily living skills, social communication, and self-advocacy to foster student independence.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
