Teaching and Learning

• Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured English lessons that inspire and engage students.
• Teach English Language and Literature following the school’s curriculum (e.g., Cambridge IGCSE, British, or national curriculum).
• Develop students’ proficiency in grammar, vocabulary, writing composition, reading comprehension, and oral communication.
• Encourage critical thinking and interpretation through exposure to a variety of literary genres and texts.
• Assess, record, and report on students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and academic support.
• Integrate technology and modern teaching methods to enhance classroom learning.
• Support students in improving their English for academic and real-world communication purposes.

Curriculum and Resource Development

• Participate in curriculum planning, development, and review processes.
• Prepare lesson plans, learning materials, and assessment tools aligned with curriculum standards.
• Introduce innovative teaching strategies such as project-based learning, debates, and creative writing workshops.

Student Development

• Motivate and guide students to achieve excellence in English communication and literature.
• Organize and supervise English-related extracurricular activities such as drama clubs, spelling bees, essay writing competitions, and reading programs.
• Provide mentorship and academic guidance to help students reach their full potential.

Professional Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate student records, lesson plans, and assessment data.
• Attend departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional training sessions.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary projects and school-wide initiatives.
• Uphold school policies, discipline, and child safeguarding standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
