RESPONSIBILITIES

• Attend tender briefings and site visits.
• Cross-reference every section against the client's RFP/tender instructions to ensure no mandatory requirement is missed.
• Analyse client requirements and propose custom system designs and architectures that match client needs.
• Work closely with Technical Sourcing, Cost Estimator, the tender team and the BD team during tender preparation.
• Architect cybersecurity solutions tailored to client performance and budget needs.
• Scope and size solutions and prepare bills of materials, working with principals and distributors to optimise costing and pricing.
• Respond to technical specifications and prepare the Statement of Compliance.
• Support product demonstrations, workshops and proofs of concept (POC).
• Prepare easy-to-read, benefit-driven proposals for clients.
• Support the development and delivery of the cybersecurity practice, including managed services and SOC capability.
• Support Business Development management in expanding the cybersecurity business plan and roadmap.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Background in solutions architecture or presales technical consulting within cybersecurity, combining hands-on expertise across the security stack — such as threat intelligence and digital risk protection, security operations (SIEM/SOC/MDR), endpoint and identity security, data protection, and attack surface management — with strong RFP/tender authoring and Statement of Compliance experience.
• Proven ability to scope, size and cost multi-vendor solutions and to manage principal/distributor relationships for competitive pricing.
• Comfortable presenting to and defending technical proposals before enterprise and government evaluation panels. Experience selling or delivering managed security services and SOC is a strong advantage.
• Malaysian public-sector tender experience and an established end-user/industry network are highly desirable.

QUALIFICATION LEVEL

Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering / Network Engineering / Information Technology or any certification that is suitable

EXPERIENCE LEVEL

3–5 years in cybersecurity presales, solutions architecture or technical consulting, with proven RFP/tender, solution scoping and Statement of Compliance experience across the security stack. Managed services/SOC delivery and Malaysian public-sector or enterprise client experience will be an advantage.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
