Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Manufacturing Engineering.

• 0–2 years of working experience.

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

• Able to read and prepare technical drawings.

• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including motors, control panels, and wiring.

• Willing to perform hands-on factory work and travel to customer sites.

• Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

• Responsible, safety-conscious, fast learner, and able to work well in a team.

• Must have own transport and a valid driving licence.

Added Advantage

• Experience with lifts, dumbwaiters, or goods hoists.

• Experience with loading bay equipment.

• Experience in design, fabrication, installation, testing, or servicing of lifting/loading equipment.

• Knowledge of DOSH (JKKP) regulations and PMA inspections for lifting equipment.

About the Role

• Methodcon Sdn Bhd manufactures lift and loading bay equipment.

• The Engineer will assist in designing, manufacturing, testing, and installing products.

• Work involves both factory operations and customer sites.

• Guidance and training will be provided by senior engineers.

• Job Duties

• Assist with daily factory production.

• Monitor production output, product quality, and machinery.

• Prepare and update technical drawings, parts lists, and work instructions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and products.

• Inspect and test parts and finished products.

• Assist with installation, testing, and servicing at customer sites.

• Perform other tasks assigned by the Engineering Manager.

• On-the-job training provided by experienced engineers.
