Team Leader – Credit Recovery Officer

Join Our Growing Credit Recovery Team!

Are you an experienced Credit Recovery / Debt Collection professional with strong leadership skills? Do you enjoy coaching a team, achieving targets, and turning challenging accounts into successful recoveries?

We are looking for a Team Leader – Credit Recovery Officer to lead, motivate and develop our recovery team while driving strong collection performance.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead, supervise and motivate a team of Credit Recovery Officers to achieve daily, weekly and monthly collection targets.
• Monitor team performance, productivity, recovery results and quality of work.
• Provide coaching, guidance and regular feedback to improve team performance.
• Review and monitor collection activities, account handling and follow-up strategies.
• Assist team members in handling difficult or escalated customer cases.
• Develop effective recovery strategies to maximise collection results.
• Prepare and monitor team performance reports and recovery statistics.
• Conduct regular team briefings and performance reviews.
• Ensure all collection activities are conducted professionally and in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.
• Work closely with management to identify performance gaps and implement improvement plans.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in debt collection, credit recovery, telecollection, financial services or a related field.
• Previous experience leading or supervising a team is highly preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Target-driven, confident and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coach team members.
• Strong sense of responsibility, discipline and professionalism.
• Good analytical skills with the ability to understand collection and performance reports.
• Comfortable working with KPIs and performance targets.
