Solar Sales Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Solar Sales Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, promoting solar PV solutions, preparing quotations, and maintaining strong relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for solar PV systems in residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
• Source new customers and follow up on sales leads, enquiries, and referrals.
• Understand customers' energy requirements and recommend suitable solar solutions.
• Conduct site visits and coordinate site assessments for solar PV installations.
• Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and presentations for prospective customers.
• Explain solar system benefits, estimated energy savings, and return on investment to customers.
• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms to achieve sales targets.
• Maintain good relationships with existing customers and provide professional after-sales support.
• Coordinate with internal engineering, project, and administrative teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and potential business opportunities.
• Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to the company's business growth.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience in sales, preferably in solar PV systems, electrical engineering, or the renewable energy industry.
• Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong interest in developing a career in solar energy and renewable energy solutions.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and target-oriented.
• Able to communicate effectively with customers and prepare sales proposals and quotations.
• Possess own transport and a valid driving licence.
• Willing to travel for customer meetings and site visits.
• Fresh graduates with a strong interest in solar sales may also be considered.

Pay: From RM3,500.00 per month

Work Location: In person
