About VetExpress Clinic

VetExpress is a veterinary clinic focused on making everyday pet care simpler and more accessible for pet owners. We provide preventive and routine veterinary services for cats and dogs, including vaccinations, health checks, wellness consultations and mobile veterinary services.

We are looking for a creative and motivated Marketing & Creative Intern to help grow our online presence, create engaging content, and connect with pet owners through social media.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

• Manage VetExpress’s social media accounts, including Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.
• Plan and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent posting.
• Develop content ideas that engage pet owners and promote our services.
• Write captions, prepare posts and schedule content across platforms.
• Monitor engagement and identify opportunities to improve our social media presence.

Content Creation & Video Editing

• Create engaging social media content, including short-form videos, reels, stories and static posts.
• Film and edit videos featuring our veterinary team, clinic activities, pet care tips and behind-the-scenes moments.
• Assist with ad-hoc video editing and creative projects for marketing campaigns.
• Design simple graphics and promotional materials using tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Repurpose existing content into different formats for various social media platforms.

Marketing & Campaign Support

• Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns, promotions and seasonal marketing initiatives.
• Research social media trends, content formats and competitor activities to generate new ideas.
• Support the development of marketing materials for clinic services, events and partnerships.
• Track basic social media performance metrics and provide insights on content performance.

Other Responsibilities

• Assist with ad-hoc marketing and creative tasks as required.
• Work with the veterinary team to develop accurate, engaging and educational pet care content.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, Design or a related field.
• Familiar with social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.
• Comfortable creating and editing short-form videos.
• Basic knowledge of video editing tools such as CapCut, Canva or similar software.
• Creative, proactive and willing to experiment with new content ideas.
• Good written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and manage deadlines.

A bonus if you:

• Have experience managing social media accounts or creating content for a brand.
• Enjoy photography, videography or graphic design.
• Have an interest in animals, pet care or the veterinary industry.
