Our small team takes pride in crafting high quality matcha and tea-based drinks while creating warm, repeatable moments for customers across Petaling Jaya, KLCC and TRX.This role is built for makers and learners. As a Service Crew / Barista you will help build consistent drink quality and guest experience at each outlet, learn professional Tearista techniques through structured training, and contribute ideas to refine our service rhythm and menu displays.Your Growth & Impact

• Train: Gain step-by-step Tearista and barista training that covers tea preparation, drink consistency, and basic latte art.
• Build: Improve your craft by preparing drinks daily and following clear recipes to ensure consistent taste and presentation.
• Connect: Grow your customer service skills by handling face-to-face orders, taking feedback, and creating friendly moments for regulars.
• Lead: Develop operational skills such as station setup, cleanliness, and time management that prepare you for shift lead or supervisor roles.
• Network: Expand your hospitality experience by working across multiple locations and learning from a close-knit team focused on Japanese tea culture.

Responsibilities Beverage preparation & quality

• Prepare matcha and tea-based drinks to recipe specifications, ensuring consistent taste and presentation each shift.
• Operate grinders, steamers, and basic espresso equipment safely while following cleanliness and temperature checks.
• Maintain portion control and stock levels for high-use ingredients to reduce waste and keep service steady.

Guest experience & counter service

• Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and offer clear explanations of menu items and promotions.
• Deliver drinks and light food with care and timely follow up to ensure guest satisfaction and repeat visits.
• Handle cash and digital transactions responsibly and record sales with attention to accuracy.

Operations, cleanliness & growth

• Set up and close service stations, perform routine cleaning, and follow food safety practices for a tidy outlet.
• Participate in structured Tearista training and practice latte art basics to improve craft and speed.
• Share ideas to refine service flow and menu displays, and cover other outlets when needed to support the team.

Requirements Qualifications & Experience

• Submit a formal A4 resume with a recent candidate photo attached as part of your application.
• No prior barista experience required; we provide step-by-step Tearista and barista training for new hires.
• Previous retail, hospitality, or food service experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• Basic cash handling and point of sale operation, with attention to accurate order entry and payment processing.
• Ability to follow written recipes and standard operating procedures for drink preparation and station setup.
• Familiarity or willingness to learn food safety, temperature checks, and simple equipment cleaning routines.

Soft Skills & Qualities

• Customer oriented and friendly; you stay calm when it gets busy and enjoy creating small, repeatable moments for guests.
• Team player with a learning mindset who accepts coaching and applies feedback to improve consistency.
• Reliable and punctual, with flexibility to work shifts that may include weekends or peak hours across Petaling Jaya, KLCC or TRX.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
