Role Description The Pharmacy Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based at AcePlus Pharmacy in Iskandar Puteri. The role involves supporting pharmacists with daily dispensing activities, including preparing prescriptions, labeling medications, and ensuring accurate documentation. The Pharmacy Assistant will assist customers at the counter, provide basic product information, manage phone inquiries, and help coordinate prescription refills. Responsibilities also include maintaining stock levels, organizing inventory, checking expiry dates, and keeping work areas clean and orderly. The role requires adherence to pharmacy policies, support for routine health checks, and collaboration with the pharmacy team to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered service.
Qualifications

• Ability to support prescription processing, medication packing, and accurate record keeping.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills for patient-facing interactions.
• Basic knowledge of pharmacy operations, medication categories, and health products (training provided where needed).
• Organizational skills for inventory management, stock replenishment, and maintaining a clean work environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety, confidentiality, and compliance with pharmacy guidelines.
• Ability to work full time on-site in Iskandar Puteri and collaborate effectively with pharmacists and colleagues.
• Prior experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Relevant certificate or diploma in pharmacy or health-related field is beneficial.
