About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive to join Sunway XFarms. The primary focus of this role is to drive sales of our own-grown fresh produce, particularly lettuces and other crops, to F&B and HoReCa customers. You will identify and acquire new accounts, build long-term customer relationships, and convert opportunities into recurring orders while working closely with farmers and internal teams to ensure reliable supply and a seamless customer experience.

This is a hands-on opportunity to gain broad exposure to business development within the agriculture and F&B sectors. As part of the Sunway Group, you will work in an entrepreneurial environment that values initiative, resourcefulness, and a strong go-getter mindset.

What You Will Be Expected to Deliver:

• Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline by actively identifying, qualifying, and acquiring new F&B customers across Klang Valley.
• Take ownership of lead generation and customer acquisition activities, with sales targets/quotas to be discussed during the selection process.
• Use market information, customer data, and basic sales analysis to identify high-potential prospects and prioritize business opportunities.
• Build strong working relationships with restaurant chefs, purchasing teams, outlet managers, and business owners through professional and responsive customer service.
• Stay updated on new F&B outlet openings, industry developments, and market opportunities; attend relevant events and actively network within the F&B industry.
• Work closely with farmers and supply partners to understand crop availability, supply capacity, demand, and market requirements.
• Follow up on customer payments after crop deliveries and support Accounts Receivable (AR) collection and aging management when required.
• Learn and support basic operational processes, including customer delivery coordination, to ensure orders are fulfilled smoothly and reliably.
• Work closely with internal teams to resolve customer or operational issues and ensure a positive customer experience.
• Take on other business development or operational assignments as required.

What We Are Looking For:

• 1–2 years of sales or business development experience; experience in the HoReCa/F&B industry is strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple customers and priorities.
• Resourceful, analytical, and able to turn market information into practical business opportunities.
• Self-motivated and dependable, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Determined, proactive, and results-oriented, with a strong 'go-getter' mentality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially when dealing with chefs, restaurant management, purchasing teams, and business owners.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Mass Communications, Economics, or a related field is an advantage but not compulsory. Passion, attitude, and a strong interest in sales and business development are more important.
• Possess a valid driving licence and own a car, with willingness to travel within Klang Valley and as required for business development activities.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
