Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Manager, Group Finance to oversee and strengthen the Group’s financial and accounting functions. The successful candidate will play a key role in group consolidation, financial reporting, management accounts, budgeting, statutory compliance and financial controls, while supporting Management in financial planning and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and consolidation of the Group’s financial and management accounts in accordance with applicable accounting standards and statutory requirements.
- Ensure appropriate accounting systems, policies, procedures and internal controls are effectively implemented across the Group.
- Manage monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing and reporting within the required timelines.
- Review financial results, identify variances and provide meaningful financial analysis and recommendations to Management.
- Coordinate the preparation of the Group’s annual budget, forecasts and financial planning.
- Monitor the Group’s financial performance, cash flow and other key financial indicators.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, regulatory authorities and other relevant parties on financial and statutory matters.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Bursa Malaysia requirements, Securities Commission requirements, Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and other relevant regulations.
- Assist Management in evaluating the financial impact of proposed business changes, investments or initiatives.
- Ensure timely completion of the Group’s audit, tax and statutory reporting
- Support Management and the Board by providing relevant financial information and reports for decision-making.
- Lead, guide and develop the Finance team to ensure effective delivery of the Group Finance function.
- Perform other finance-related duties and assignments as required by Management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MICPA or equivalent and/or membership with
- Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) would be an advantage.group consolidation and listed-company reporting.
- Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, preferably with exposure to
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting, management reporting, MFRS and statutory requirements.
- Familiarity with Bursa Malaysia regulations and Securities Commission requirements is an added advantage.
- Possession of a recognised Artificial Intelligence (AI) certification is compulsory.
- Must demonstrate the ability to utilise AI tools and technology effectively in finance-related work, including financial analysis, reporting, process improvement and productivity enhancement.
- Strong analytical, financial planning and problem-solving skills.
- Good leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Meticulous, detail-oriented and able to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines.
- High level of integrity, accountability and professionalism.
- Ability to understand the financial implications of business decisions and provide practical recommendations to Management.
Pay: RM7,500.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
