What Will You Do?

• Oversee daily food preparation and kitchen operations to ensure consistent food quality, taste, and presentation.
• Supervise kitchen team members and ensure smooth workflow during operating hours.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards throughout the kitchen.
• Manage food requisitions, stock rotation, portion control, and ingredient storage.
• Monitor food costs and minimise wastage.
• Assist in menu development, food preparation planning, and the introduction of new dishes.
• Train and guide kitchen team members on food preparation techniques and standard operating procedures.
• Ensure timely food preparation and service, especially during peak periods.
• Perform other kitchen-related duties as required to support foodcourt operations.

Who Must You Be?

• Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts, Food Production, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant kitchen experience, preferably in restaurants, foodcourts, catering, or high-volume foodservice operations.
• Experience supervising kitchen staff and managing an assigned kitchen section.
• Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene, inventory management, and cost control.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Hands-on, organised, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
