Role Description This full-time Takaful Agent role is a hybrid position based in Damansara, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The Takaful Agent will engage with prospective and existing clients to understand their protection and financial needs, explain Takaful products, and recommend suitable solutions. Daily responsibilities include meeting clients in person and online, conducting needs analyses, preparing proposals, and guiding clients through the enrollment process. The role also involves maintaining ongoing relationships, handling basic policy servicing requests, and ensuring all activities comply with relevant Takaful guidelines and regulations. The agent will collaborate with colleagues, attend training sessions, and participate in outreach or marketing initiatives to grow the client portfolio.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and client service skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships.
• Basic understanding of financial planning, insurance or Takaful concepts, and willingness to deepen knowledge of Shariah-compliant products.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage time effectively, and handle both in-person and remote client engagements.
• Comfort with digital tools, including online communication platforms, CRM or sales tracking systems, and basic office software.
• Proactive, goal-oriented mindset with resilience in sales environments and openness to coaching and continuous learning.
• Minimum educational background at diploma level or equivalent; relevant certifications in Takaful or financial services are an advantage.
• Prior experience in sales, customer service, or financial services is beneficial but motivated entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
