Job Description:

The Olive Trees is looking for passionate individuals to join our team as a Vocational Skills Instructor at our private special education school.

1. Possess a VTO or TVET-I Certificate.

• Must possess one of the following qualifications:

1. Food & Beverage Service:

• SKM Level 3 / DKM / DLKM

1. Laundry Services Operations:

• SKM Level 3 / DKM / DLKM\

• NOSS: Laundry Services Operations

• NOSS Code: HT-053-3:2013

• Level: 3

1. Passionate about teaching and guiding students with special educational needs.

2. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

3. Patient, responsible and committed to supporting students’ development.

4. Willing to learn and work as part of a team.
   

Employment Type: Full-Time – 1-Year Contract (including probation period), with the opportunity to be absorbed into a permanent position subject to performance and Management approval. Written notification will be provided two months prior to the contract’s expiration.

• Teach and guide students in vocational and practical skills.

• Conduct hands-on training and practical activities based on students’ abilities and learning needs.

• Support students in developing practical, workplace and independent living skills.

• Adapt teaching methods and activities to suit students with special educational needs.

• Monitor students’ learning progress and provide appropriate guidance and support.

• Create a safe, positive and supportive learning environment.

• Work closely with teachers and other staff to support students’ overall development.

• Prepare and organise relevant training materials and practical activities.

• Perform other duties related to vocational education as assigned.
