The Remittance Associate is responsible for handling daily remittance transactions and providing customer support related to money transfer services.
This full-time, on-site role based in Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam involves processing inbound and outbound remittances, verifying customer documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies. The role includes assisting customers at the counter, explaining remittance options, fees, and procedures, and resolving basic service issues in a professional manner. The Remittance Associate will also maintain accurate transaction records, reconcile remittance reports, and support anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) checks as required. Collaboration with colleagues and supervisors to improve processes and maintain a high level of service quality is expected.

Qualifications:

Candidates should possess strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact clearly and professionally with diverse customers.

Candidates should possess basic financial and numerical skills, including accurate cash handling, transaction processing, and attention to detail in documentation.

Candidates should possess compliance and risk awareness skills, including understanding of KYC, AML, and regulatory requirements or willingness to learn them.

Candidates should possess problem-solving and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple transactions, prioritize tasks, and maintain orderly records.

Candidates should possess computer literacy skills, including proficiency with point-of-sale or transaction systems and common office software.

Relevant experience in remittance, money exchange, banking, or financial services is an advantage.

Minimum of a secondary school qualification; a diploma or degree in finance, business, or a related field is beneficial.

Pay: From RM1,800.00 per month
