Oriental Sheet Piling delivers sheet piling, shoring and foundation solutions for infrastructure, marine and construction projects. We’re looking for an experienced Project Engineer to lead projects in Malaysia from award to handover. You’ll own project delivery, covering planning, cost, programme, site execution and client coordination. You’ll work closely with our engineering, procurement and site teams to deliver safe, on-time and on-budget results.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage sheet piling, shoring and foundation projects from award through to completion and handover.
• Prepare and monitor programmes, budgets, resource plans and cash flow.
• Review drawings, specifications, method statements and contract requirements.
• Coordinate engineering design, material procurement, logistics and equipment mobilisation.
• Supervise site teams, subcontractors and suppliers, and ensure work is done to specification.
• Lead client, consultant and main contractor meetings, and handle variations, claims and progress billing.
• Enforce safety, quality and statutory requirements on site.
• Report progress, risks and margins to management, and prepare close-out documents.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Minimum 2-5 years’ hands-on project management experience in piling, shoring, foundation, marine or civil works in Malaysia.
• Proven track record of managing projects end to end, including programme, cost control, subcontractors and client communication.
• Good understanding of temporary works, excavation support or piling methods.
• Able to read drawings and technical specifications, and manage contracts and variations.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to be based on site and to travel to projects across Malaysia.
