任职资格

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 7 years of working experience in sea freight forwarding operations (Import & Export), including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong knowledge of international shipping procedures, customs regulations, Incoterms, and freight forwarding documentation.
Proven experience in managing sea freight operations teams and overseeing departmental performance.
Established working relationships with shipping lines, overseas agents, and logistics service providers.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
Ability to manage multiple shipments, operational challenges, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in freight forwarding systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin proficiency will be an added advantage.
Independent, results-driven, and capable of managing the department with minimal supervision.

岗位职责

Oversee and manage the entire Sea Freight Department, covering both import and export operations.
Lead, supervise, and develop the sea freight operations team to ensure efficient daily operations and service delivery.
Manage end-to-end sea freight operations, including shipment bookings, documentation, customs clearance, container movements, and cargo delivery.
Coordinate with shipping lines, overseas agents, customs brokers, hauliers, warehouses, and other service providers.
Monitor shipment schedules, operational performance, and service quality to ensure timely cargo movement.
Handle operational escalations, shipment delays, customer complaints, and complex logistics issues.
Negotiate freight rates and service terms with shipping lines and vendors to maintain competitive pricing.
Monitor departmental costs, operational expenses, and shipment profitability.
Establish and improve operational procedures, internal controls, and departmental KPIs.
Ensure compliance with customs regulations, international shipping requirements, and company policies.
Work closely with the Sales and Customer Service teams to support business growth and customer retention.
Prepare departmental performance reports and provide regular updates to Management.
