Position Summary

The Multimedia Intern supports the Marketing and Product teams in creating visual assets, including digital content and basic product and packaging design support. This role assists with layout preparation, visual mock-ups, and design adaptations while ensuring alignment with Velvet Vanity's brand guidelines. The intern will gain hands-on exposure to creative, packaging, and product presentation processes under the supervision of the Marketing and Creative team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Content Creation and Design

• Assist in creating visual content for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, website, EDMs).
• Support basic graphic design tasks using Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar tools.
• Prepare simple motion graphics or animations when required.

2. Product, Packaging, and Printed Materials Design Support

• Assist in preparing basic packaging layouts, mock-ups, or visual adaptations based on provided brand and design guidelines.
• Support the creation of visual mock-ups for product concepts, packaging, posters, and signage.
• Update artwork files for packaging and printed materials (including posters, in-store signage, stickers, and inserts) for size, copy, or format changes as instructed.
• Ensure all packaging and printed visuals adhere to approved brand guidelines and applicable regulatory or compliance requirements.
• Assist in organising and maintaining artwork files, print-ready drafts, and version control for packaging and printed materials.

3. Shooting and Production Support

• Assist during content shoots (product, lifestyle, behind-the-scenes, retail, events).
• Handle basic setup such as lighting, tripods, props, and product arrangement.
• Capture behind-the-scenes content during campaigns, events, and store activities.

4. Content Management

• Organise digital assets (photos, videos, design files) in company folders.
• Ensure proper file naming, version control, and storage discipline.
• Upload and update content based on instructions.

5. Brand and Design Compliance

• Follow Velvet Vanity's brand guidelines (colours, fonts, tone, layout).
• Use company templates correctly and consistently.
• Ensure all outputs align with brand identity and aesthetics.

6. Collaboration and Communication

• Work closely with the Marketing, Social Media, and Retail teams.
• Receive and implement feedback professionally and in a timely manner.
• Support urgent creative tasks as required.

7. Administrative and Support Tasks

• Assist in preparing presentation decks or internal creative materials.
• Help source references, mood boards, and creative inspiration.
• Support campaign documentation and reporting.
• Support initiatives that contribute to improving and optimising the Company's growth, including process improvements, sales optimisation ideas, customer engagement strategies, and operational enhancements as reasonably required by Management.
• Perform any other duties reasonably assigned by Management that support the Company's strategic objectives and business growth.

Pay: RM500.00 - RM800.00 per month
