Job Vacancy: Technical Executive

Specialisation: Two-Way Radio / Walkie-Talkie

Job Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, inspection, repair and maintenance of walkie-talkies and two-way radio communication equipment.
• Diagnose hardware faults and replace defective components, batteries, chargers and other accessories where necessary.
• Carry out radio programming, including frequency, channel, power settings and other configurations according to customer requirements and authorised parameters.
• Perform installation, testing and commissioning of two-way radio systems and related communication equipment.
• Install and configure radio accessories, antennas, repeaters and other communication devices where required.
• Conduct functional tests to ensure equipment operates properly before delivery to customers.
• Prepare technical service reports, repair records and equipment testing documentation.
• Assist with equipment preparation, stock checking and serial number verification.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting guidance and after-sales service to customers.
• Attend customer sites for equipment installation, inspection, maintenance and technical support when required.
• Ensure all repair and installation work complies with safety procedures and applicable communication regulations.
• Perform other technical duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Certificate, Diploma or equivalent qualification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in walkie-talkie repair, radio programming, electronics troubleshooting or communication system installation is an advantage.
• Familiarity with two-way radio equipment, programming software, diagnostic tools and electronic testing equipment.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic circuits.
• Able to troubleshoot technical problems independently and work systematically.
• Willing to travel to customer sites when required.
• Possess a valid driving licence is an advantage.
• Responsible, detail-oriented and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Fresh graduates with relevant technical knowledge and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
