About the role

We are looking for a practical draughtsman who can turn engineering information into clear fabrication drawings for our workshop. This role suits someone who understands how steel and mechanical components are actually fabricated - not only how to operate CAD software.

Job Requirements

• Candidates must possess at least Diploma or Bachelor' s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

• Candidates must possess minimum 3 years of working experience in draughting or mechanical design.

• Candidates must be familiar with Microsoft Office and possess advance AutoCAD (2D) skills.

• Proficient in SolidWorks for 3D modelling and preparation of detailed fabrication drawings

• Experience in creating technical drawings.

• Strong understanding of mechanical design, materials and manufacturing process.

• Capable to converse in both Bahasa Malaysia and English (both spoken and written).

• Capable to work independently.

• To prepare technical drawings of machinery & structures for design and fabrication purposes.

• Create accurate schematics, layouts and models that clearly represent the system, ensuring that the drawings meet standard.

• Update and modify drawings based on feedback or changes in design requirements, ensuring that all revisions are -clearly documented and communicated to the relevant team members.

• Ensure that drawings reflect the most up-to-date materials and components based on supplier availability and project needs.

• To perform calculations for bill of materials.

• To involve in cost analysis.

• To coordinate internally with inter-department and externally with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
