Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Incoming Raw Material Inspector to ensure all materials meet required specifications and quality standards before entering the Main Store. This role is vital to maintaining the performance and reliability of our commercial kitchen equipment.
Key Responsibilities:

*Inspect incoming raw materials for compliance with technical drawings, specifications, and purchase orders.
*Conduct dimensional checks, surface finish inspections, and verify material specifications and grades—including stainless steel types, electrical and electronic components, and other relevant parameters.
*Use tools such as measuring tapes, vernier calipers, clamp meters, surface roughness testers, torchlights, and other necessary inspection instruments.
*Perform additional tasks as required by the QM/QC Manager to support quality assurance operations.
*Record inspection results and maintain accurate logs in EPICOR ERP or other required documentation systems.
*Prepare and submit Supplier Corrective Action Request (SCAR) for any rejected materials.

*Ensure material traceability through heat numbers, mill certificates, and relevant supplier documents, including purchase and delivery orders.

*Collaborate with Main Store, Procurement, and Production teams to resolve raw material issues. Liaise with QM/QC and Procurement on quality discrepancies, support supplier corrective actions, and participate in root cause analysis and CAPA processes.

Qualification:
*Possess a Technical Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field—preferably from a Malaysian Polytechnic, Institute Kemahiran Malaysia (IKM), or TVET institution.
*Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
*Proficient in reading Engineering Drawing and using inspection tools & equipment.

*Candidate with familiarity with Commercial Kitchen Equipment components and materials will be prioritized.
*Preferably 1 or 2 years of experience in Quality Inspection, if possible, in metal or stainless-steel fabrication or any equipment manufacturing.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
