Passionate about nursing education and developing future nurses? We are seeking a Clinical Instructor to join a higher education institution and support nursing students through clinical teaching, practical training and supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical teaching, practical demonstrations, simulation sessions and nursing skills training.
• Supervise and guide nursing students during clinical placements at healthcare facilities.
• Help students apply theoretical knowledge to clinical practice and develop clinical competencies.
• Assess students’ clinical performance and provide constructive feedback and mentoring.
• Coordinate with clinical preceptors, nursing staff and healthcare partners to support effective clinical placements.
• Maintain student attendance records, clinical logbooks, assessments and competency checklists.
• Ensure adherence to patient safety, infection control, ethical practices and professional nursing standards.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, preferably with a Post Basic qualification.
• Clinical specialisation in Gerontology, Renal, Paediatrics, Midwifery, Public Health, or other relevant nursing disciplines.
• Ability to demonstrate nursing procedures and guide students in clinical settings.
• Strong communication, mentoring and coordination skills.
• Passion for nursing education, student development and quality patient care.
