Job Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and hands-on Assistant Restaurant Manager / Supervisor to lead front-of-house operations, supervise service staff, and maintain high operational standards. In this role, you will work closely with the Restaurant Manager and Kitchen Team to deliver exceptional dining experiences, maintain food quality, and drive daily sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Dining Room & Shift Management: Lead floor operations during shift hours, oversee table seatings, maintain fast and accurate service flow, and assist with opening/closing tasks.
• Team Leadership & Guidance: Supervise, train, and support service crew and runners. Ensure staff adhere to uniform, grooming, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Customer Experience: Greet dining guests, handle inquiries, manage peak-hour waiting lines, and address guest feedback or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Kitchen & Bar Coordination: Act as a bridge between the front-of-house and kitchen/bar staff to ensure smooth ticket flow, correct order delivery, and timely service.
• Hygiene & Compliance: Ensure dining areas, service stations, and restrooms meet strict cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene standards.
• Inventory & Cashiering: Conduct daily shift handovers, assist with end-of-day sales settlements, and monitor stock levels for beverages, crockery, and dining supplies.

Requirements & Qualifications

• At least 1–2 years of supervisory experience in a restaurant, bistro, or casual dining environment.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant service workflow, food hygiene standards, and POS cashiering systems.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
• Friendly, adaptable, and able to perform well under peak-hour pressure.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
