AYURVEDIC ASSISTANT PRACTITIONER

Location: Nilai, Negeri Sembilan

Salary: RM5,100 per month

MYFutureJobs Negeri Sembilan is sourcing candidates for Ayurvedic Assistant Practitioner positions with a traditional Ayurveda healthcare centre based in Nilai.

The role supports patient care, Ayurvedic treatment preparation and daily clinic operations under the supervision of a licensed practitioner. Candidates should be compassionate, professional and committed to maintaining patient confidentiality, hygiene and safety.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the practitioner during patient consultations, assessments and treatment sessions.
• Prepare and administer prescribed Ayurvedic therapies and procedures under the practitioner’s supervision.
• Dispense prescribed herbal medicines and explain their proper use and precautions according to the practitioner’s instructions.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and treatment documentation.
• Maintain the cleanliness, hygiene and safety of therapy rooms, equipment and supplies.
• Support appointment scheduling, patient follow-ups and daily clinic operations.
• Provide patient education on Ayurveda-based diet, lifestyle and preventive care as directed by the practitioner.
• Work collaboratively with practitioners and other clinic staff.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Certificate or Diploma in Ayurveda, Traditional Medicine or a related field.
• Relevant training recognised by the applicable authorities or professional bodies.
• Basic understanding of Ayurvedic principles, therapies and treatment procedures.
• Good communication skills in English and/or Bahasa Malaysia.
• A professional, compassionate and patient-focused attitude.
