• Skills: Solid understanding of automotive mechanical systems, basic auto-electrical wiring, and computer-aided diagnostic tools.

• Location: Malaysian citizens only. Candidates residing in or near Kepong, Old Klang Road, or surrounding Klang Valley areas are strongly encouraged to apply.

• Key Attributes: High integrity, strong problem-solving skills, punctual, reliable team player with a clean record.

• Language: Ability to speak Mandarin / Cantonese is a strong advantage to facilitate smooth communication with specific customer segments and team members.

Role Overview

Join an established automotive dealership team committed to service excellence. We are looking for hands-on, detail-oriented Automotive Technicians to join our busy service workshop in Kepong. In this role, you will perform preventive maintenance, mechanical repairs, and advanced diagnostic troubleshooting across a wide range of vehicles, including popular Japanese models.

Key Responsibilities

1. Diagnostics & Vehicle Maintenance

• Routine Servicing: Perform comprehensive engine oil changes, multi-point safety inspections, brake pad replacements, fluid flushes, and general maintenance.

• Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Utilize modern diagnostic scanners and specialized workshop tools to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults efficiently.

• System Repairs: Repair and overhaul critical vehicle components, including engines, transmissions, suspension systems, steering, air-conditioning, and braking systems.

2. Workshop Operations & Safety

• Quality & Safety Assurance: Adhere strictly to Dealership Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and official manufacturer repair guidelines.

• Tool & Workstation Care: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workstation while properly managing workshop machinery, specialized tools, and diagnostic gear.

• Parts & Documentation: Ensure precise record-keeping of parts used and work completed to facilitate clear communication with Service Advisors and ensure customer satisfaction.

3. Team Collaboration

- Target Achievement: Work collaboratively with Service Advisors, Job Controllers, and workshop leads to achieve daily job throughput targets and meet turnaround deadlines.

• Competitive Pay: RM 1,800.00 – RM 3,000.00 base salary (commensurate with technical expertise and proven track record)
