Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and continuously improve the Supplier Quality Management System (SQMS).
• Conduct annual Supplier Risk Assessments in collaboration with the Procurement team.
• Plan and coordinate the supplier audits, including other food safety compliance activities.
• Investigate and manage food safety and quality-related customer complaints and coordinate improvement actions with suppliers.
• Provide food safety and quality coaching and guidance to suppliers.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA), CAPA and corrective action processes for supplier-related quality issues.
• Monitor and ensure timely follow-up and closure of CAPA and non-conformance reports.
• Develop and implement a supplier quality strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Establish supplier quality KPIs and performance metrics and provide regular reports to management.
• Lead and develop the quality team, fostering a culture of accountability, compliance and continuous improvement.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives across the supply chain to improve product quality, food safety and operational efficiency.
• Maintain and control FSQA documentation, ensuring updated documents are properly distributed to restaurants and relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor and report food safety non-conformances to the General Manager and FSQA team.
• Provide recommendations to management on areas requiring improvement.
• Prepare regular WIP, management and activity reports.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the General Manager from time to time.

Requirement:

• Degree in Food Science & Technology, Food Service Management or its equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years in managerial positon and in the related field.
• Strong experience in Food Safety, Quality Assurance, Supplier Quality or Quality Management, preferably within the F&B, food manufacturing or FMCG industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks and develop effective solutions.
• Good understanding of supplier quality management, food safety, quality systems, audits and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with suppliers, Procurement, Operations and cross-functional teams.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop and lead a quality team.
• Commercial and operational awareness with a good understanding of risk, governance and control.
• Proactive mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
• Relevant qualifications in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Safety, Quality Management or a related field will be an advantage.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
