Skills Required

• 5+ years of experience as a software developer working with Dynamics Business Central / NAV, at least 3 with the AL programming language
• Experience with Business Central 15 and above, specifically using events to perform modifications
• Hands-on experience with at least one of: Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Azure Development
• Experience extending common third-party add-on solutions
• Experience with automated testing
• Strong software development experience, ability to use development tools including Microsoft C/AL and .Net
• Strong database knowledge, in-depth understanding of MS SQL server and able to use transact – SQL

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• 1-4 years of software development experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Navision (NAV) or related ERP solutions

You will be designing, developing, and maintaining Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central applications. Delivers full lifecycle application development, customizations and enhancements, provides pre- and post-go-live end-user support, and serves as the lead technical expert on implementation teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyzing and estimating client modification requests
• Writing code to extend all functional areas of Business Central
• Testing functionality developed by the implementation team against business requirements
• Delivering modifications to clients
• Providing pre-go-live and post-go-live end-user support
• Serving as the lead technical expert on the implementation team
• Developing modifications and creating outputs as defined by standard system design lifecycles
• Assisting sales with modification estimates and presales demos in pursuit of new business
• Full lifecycle application development; tailoring software solutions, customizations and enhancements for customers
• Investigating, analyzing and replicating issues and providing support to customers
• Testing and analyzing for operational functionality of solutions; delivery of finished products and implementation
• Performing tuning improvement on software
