Introduction

The National Autism Society of Malaysia (NASOM) is a non-profit, non-governmental welfare organisation that provides services and support to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families.

We are currently seeking a creative, proactive, and organised individual to join our team as a Junior Exec/Exec Marketing, Graphic Design & Event Coordinator at NASOM HQ, Ara Damansara, Petaling Jaya.

We are looking for a passionate individual who can bring fresh ideas to life through creative marketing, engaging visual content, and impactful events. At NASOM, we believe in raising awareness, strengthening community engagement, and building meaningful connections to support individuals with autism and their families.

Scope of Work

- Develop and implement marketing and communication initiatives to promote NASOM's programmes, services, and activities

- Design creative visual content for digital platforms, promotional materials, and organisational campaigns

- Coordinate events, awareness campaigns, fundraising activities, and community engagement programmes

- Manage and update NASOM's social media platforms and digital content

- Support brand awareness initiatives and strengthen NASOM's public presence

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, create, and publish engaging content for social media and other marketing channels

- Design posters, banners, brochures, flyers, presentations, and other promotional materials

- Coordinate event planning, logistics, schedules, vendors, and on-site arrangements

- Collaborate with internal teams, centres, and external stakeholders to support marketing and event activities

- Capture and document events through photographs, videos, and other creative content

- Monitor marketing and social media performance and prepare reports when required

- Ensure all marketing materials and communications align with NASOM's branding and organisational objectives

Job Requirements

- Diploma or degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Mass Communication, Event Management, or a related field

- Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent software

- Knowledge of social media management, digital marketing, and content creation

- Good communication, coordination, and organisational skills

- Creative, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks

- Experience in event coordination, marketing, graphic design, or social media management is an advantage

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

- A genuine interest in supporting NASOM's mission and raising awareness about autism
