About the Role

Are you a finance professional who combines strong technical expertise with commercial acumen and leadership capabilities?

We are looking for a hands-on Regional Finance Manager to oversee the Group's financial reporting, planning, governance and compliance across its regional entities.

Working closely with the Group CFO, you will play a key role in driving financial performance, strengthening internal controls and leading regional finance operations. You will also have the opportunity to establish and develop the Group's sustainability reporting framework in line with evolving regulatory requirements.

This is a hands-on leadership position where you will be actively involved in financial closing, consolidation and reporting, while guiding and developing the regional finance team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing, consolidation and reporting across regional entities.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, local statutory requirements and applicable financial regulations.
• Oversee the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of financial reports.

2. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

• Lead the regional budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning processes.
• Conduct financial and variance analysis, providing meaningful insights to support management decision-making.
• Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities for cost optimisation and improved profitability.

3. Business Partnering

• Work closely with Operations, Sales and local finance teams to support business performance.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to drive operational efficiency and cost control.

4. Governance, Internal Controls & Risk Management

• Strengthen internal financial controls, policies, SOPs and risk management practices across regional operations.
• Ensure sound corporate governance in line with the Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance (MCCG) and applicable corporate liability requirements.

5. Sustainability & ESG Reporting

• Support the Group CFO in establishing and developing the Group's sustainability reporting framework.
• Oversee the collection, calculation, verification and reporting of Scope 1, 2 and 3 greenhouse gas emissions, waste and social impact metrics.
• Drive audit readiness and compliance with Bursa Malaysia's enhanced Sustainability Reporting requirements and ISSB standards (IFRS S1 and S2).

6. Team Leadership

• Lead, supervise and develop the local and regional finance team.
• Coordinate finance activities across multiple entities and ensure consistency in financial processes and reporting standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA or CA is strongly preferred.
• 5–8 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, audit or financial management, including at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
• Good knowledge of financial reporting standards, Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements and statutory compliance.
• Experience handling regional entities or multi-site operations will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Detail-oriented, analytical and commercially minded, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
