Responsibilities

Guest Service

• Welcome guests warmly, guide them to seats, and confirm any dietary needs or special requests.
• Take accurate orders and relay them to kitchen and bar clearly using the POS system.
• Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction and escalate issues to a supervisor when needed.

Food & Beverage Operations

• Serve food and beverages promptly while following portion and presentation standards.
• Assist with simple beverage preparation and plating as required by the shift.
• Handle cash and POS transactions accurately and balance takings at shift end.

Cleanliness & Team Support

• Clear and reset tables quickly to keep turnover steady and the dining area tidy.
• Restock service stations and assist with opening and closing duties.
• Follow food safety and hygiene practices and support teammates during busy periods.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• 0 years experience required; we welcome fresh graduates and first-time hires.
• Previous F&B or retail experience is an advantage but not essential.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Basic numeracy for payments and simple stock checks.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• Familiarity with point of sale systems or willingness to learn quickly.
• Basic cash handling and end-of-shift reconciliation skills.
• Knowledge of safe food handling and hygiene practices or willingness to train.
• Ability to carry trays and serve multiple tables safely.

Soft Skills & Qualities

• Friendly, clear verbal communication and a guest-first attitude.
• Reliable punctuality and the physical stamina to stand for long shifts.
• Calm under pressure with good teamwork and willingness to pitch in.
