We are currently looking for a strategic and commercially driven Group Key Account Manager for a premier FMCG beverage powerhouse, known for its iconic brand portfolio and extensive national trade presence. Based in Petaling Jaya, this leadership role takes full commercial ownership of Malaysia's fastest-growing retail channel, taking strategy ownership over 99 Speedmart and KK Mart. It requires your urgent attention.

• Team size: 1 direct report
• Spearhead the highest-volume modern trade growth channel for a household FMCG leader, drive strategic joint business planning with national retail giants, and accelerate your commercial executive trajectory through direct line management and senior leadership visibility.
  
  

the role

• Drive top-line growth, profitability, and category market share across Malaysia's leading mini-market chains, maintaining total commercial accountability for accounts including 99 Speedmart and KK Mart.
• Lead Annual Trading Terms Agreements (TTA) and Joint Business Planning (JBP), negotiating margin structures, rebates, listing fees, promotional funding, and trade terms to maximize channel profitability.
• Partner with trade marketing to design account-specific promotional calendars, secondary counter visibility, planogram mechanics, and OOS reduction strategies.
• Direct line management of a Senior Key Account Executive, taking ownership of accurate sell-in/sell-out demand forecasting, inventory cover, and team development.
  
  

the experience

• Minimum 6 years of Key Account Management experience within the FMCG sector, beverage or food industry experience is desirable.
• Direct experience managing Mini-Market accounts; prior management and relationship ownership of 99 Speedmart is essential.
• Proven experience handling Annual Trading Terms (TTA), Joint Business Planning (JBP), P&L management, and trade spend ROI optimization.
• Strong leadership, analytical acumen, resilience, and adaptability in a high-velocity commercial ecosystem.
