Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Salesman to join our growing team. Our company supplies food products to the HORECA industry (Hotels, Restaurants and Cafés), including groceries, seafood, beverages, poultry, vegetables and fruits.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

* Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities.

* Maintain good relationships with existing customers.

* Promote and sell company products to restaurants, cafés, hotels and other food service businesses.

* Prepare quotations, follow up on orders and monitor customer requirements.

* Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to business growth.

* Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse and delivery teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.

* Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback.

* Follow up on outstanding payments and customer accounts when required.

Requirements

* Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.

* Previous sales experience is an advantage.

* Experience in food distribution or the HORECA industry will be an added advantage.

* Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

* Self-motivated, responsible and target-oriented.

* Possess a valid driving licence and own transport.

* Willing to travel for customer visits.

* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
