Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible, organised and physically fit Storekeeper / Store Operator to manage daily store and warehouse operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing and monitoring inventory to ensure accurate stock records and smooth production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and verify incoming goods, raw materials, spare parts and other supplies against delivery orders and purchase orders.
• Arrange, label and store materials systematically to ensure proper identification and easy retrieval.
• Issue materials, components and supplies to production and other departments according to authorised requests.
• Perform daily inventory monitoring and ensure stock records are accurately maintained.
• Conduct regular stock counts and participate in periodic stocktaking exercises.
• Prepare and maintain store documentation, including Goods Received Notes (GRN), stock cards and material issuance records.
• Monitor stock levels and report low-stock items, discrepancies and damaged goods to the superior.
• Ensure proper housekeeping, cleanliness and organisation of the store and warehouse areas.
• Assist in loading, unloading and moving goods using appropriate handling equipment.
• Ensure all materials are handled and stored safely in accordance with company procedures.
• Perform other store and warehouse-related duties as assigned by the superior.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in storekeeping, warehouse operations or inventory control will be an advantage.
• Basic computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and inventory recording systems.
• Able to read and understand delivery orders, purchase orders and stock records.
• Good organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Responsible, disciplined, physically fit and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Forklift operating experience or a valid forklift licence will be an added advantage.
• Fresh graduates or candidates without experience are encouraged to apply.
