FirstStep Child Specialist Clinic, Ara Damansara is looking for a responsible, friendly and organised Clinic Assistant to support our daily clinic operations at our clinic.

The successful candidate will assist with clinic administration, patient coordination and general clinic duties, ensuring smooth daily operations and a welcoming experience for children and their parents.

Candidates with or without prior clinic experience are welcome to apply. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Attend to enquiries through phone calls, WhatsApp and walk-in patients.
• Assist with patient registration, appointment scheduling, confirmation and follow-ups.
• Handle patient records, filing, documentation and data entry.
• Assist doctors and nurses with daily clinic operations and patient coordination.
• Prepare consultation rooms, medical equipment and necessary materials before appointments.
• Assist with basic nursing and clinical support duties as required, within the candidate's qualifications and training.
• Monitor and replenish clinic supplies, medications and medical consumables.
• Ensure the clinic, consultation rooms and waiting areas are clean, organised and well-maintained.
• Handle administrative tasks, payment collection and billing when required.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses and other clinic staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform other duties assigned by the management when necessary.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Nursing, Psychology, Healthcare Administration, Pharmacy, Business Administration or a related field is an advantage.
• Candidates with nursing or clinic experience are encouraged to apply.
• Fresh graduates and candidates without prior clinic experience are welcome.
• Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Friendly, patient and comfortable interacting with children and parents.
• Responsible, organised and attentive to detail.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work at FirstStep Child Specialist Clinic, Ara Damansara.
