Key Responsibilities

• Lead tendering, quantity take-off, cost estimation and rate analysis for building and M&E projects.
• Manage project cost control, budgets, forecasting, cash flow and profitability.
• Prepare and review subcontract tenders, quotations, contracts, POs and payment terms.
• Review and manage progress claims, variations, EOT, Loss & Expense claims and final accounts.
• Prepare monthly progress claims, variation quotations and contractual submissions to clients/main contractors.
• Review contract conditions, identify commercial risks and manage contractual correspondence.
• Coordinate and negotiate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and project teams.
• Guide the QS team and maintain accurate cost, variation and payment tracking.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, Cost Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of QS experience with a main contractor.
• Experience in industrial facilities or major M&E projects is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian construction contracts, including PAM, PWD/JKR, FIDIC or similar.
• Strong experience in tendering, cost control, claims, VO, EOT and final accounts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong commercial, negotiation, analytical and leadership skills.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage.
• BQSM registration or eligibility is an advantage.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
