Role Description The Pru Venture Manager-i is a full-time role based in Kuantan with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing a combination of on-site work and limited work from home. The role involves evaluating takaful-related business ventures and initiatives, conducting financial and investment analysis, and preparing business cases to support strategic decisions. The Pru Venture Manager-i is expected to perform due diligence on potential projects, develop and maintain financial models, and provide clear insights and recommendations to senior management. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring portfolio performance, identifying growth opportunities, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and preparing reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. The role also requires adherence to regulatory and Shariah-compliant standards while driving innovation and sustainable business growth.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, evaluate financial performance, and support strategic decision-making.
• Candidates should possess Finance and Investments expertise to assess business ventures, manage risk, and optimize returns.
• Candidates should possess Financial Modeling skills to build, maintain, and refine models that support forecasting, valuation, and scenario analysis.
• Candidates should possess Due Diligence capabilities to review, validate, and document key assumptions, financials, and risks associated with new initiatives.
• Relevant academic qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are an advantage.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with takaful or insurance industry, Shariah-compliant products, and regulatory requirements is beneficial.
