IT Business Analyst - Mandarin Speaking

About the Role

We are looking for an IT Business Analyst to support the successful delivery of technology solutions by bridging business needs and technical requirements.

You will work closely with clients, stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle to ensure solutions are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality expectations.

Experience in the Insurance industry and exposure to Agile/Scrum environments will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

• Define project scope, objectives, requirements, and deliverables with business and technical stakeholders.
• Support project planning and track progress against key milestones.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Monitor project timelines, resources, and deliverables.

Business & Stakeholder Management

• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into clear functional/technical requirements.
• Act as a bridge between business users, clients, vendors, and IT teams.
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and communicate project updates, progress reports, and key issues.

Risk & Change Management

• Identify project risks, dependencies, and potential issues.
• Support the development and implementation of risk mitigation plans.
• Manage changes to project scope, requirements, timelines, and priorities.
• Escalate critical issues and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for resolution.

Quality & Delivery

• Ensure project deliverables meet agreed requirements and quality standards.
• Support testing, issue tracking, and resolution activities.
• Work with development and QA teams to ensure requirements are properly implemented.
• Ensure projects are delivered according to agreed scope and client expectations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Business, Project Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in IT Business Analysis, Project Management, or software delivery.
• Experience in software development or SaaS environments is preferred.
• Experience in the Insurance industry is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with JIRA or similar project management tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is required.
