Role Description The MEP Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Petaling Jaya, responsible for overseeing end-to-end delivery of MEP works for building projects. The role includes planning project scope, schedules, and budgets; coordinating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing activities; and managing resources to ensure timely completion. The MEP Project Manager reviews and prepares technical submittals, monitors construction progress, resolves site issues, and ensures compliance with design specifications, codes, and safety standards. Day-to-day tasks involve leading coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors, tracking project documentation, and reporting project status to senior management. The role also requires proactive risk management, quality control, and continuous optimization of project processes.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) knowledge, including practical experience with Plumbing and related building services systems.
• Candidates should possess proven Project Management skills, including project planning, coordination, and stakeholder management.
• Candidates should possess Budgeting skills, including cost estimation, cost control, and financial tracking of project expenditures.
• Candidates should possess experience preparing, reviewing, and managing technical Submittals and other project documentation.
• Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in managing MEP works on commercial or industrial construction projects, preferably in a similar regional context.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
• Ability to work on-site full-time in Petaling Jaya, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple projects or phases concurrently.
• Familiarity with local building codes, standards, and safety regulations; professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) are an advantage.
