• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (professional qualifications such as ACCA, CAT, or CIMA are also acceptable).

• Experience in IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) preferred.

• Minimum 3–5 years of managerial experience.

• Strategic mindset with high integrity, ethics, and a results-driven approach.

• Ability to interpret financial results from a business perspective and support strategic decisionmaking.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.

• Proficiency in Excel or BI tools, with ability to present findings clearly to management.

• Participative management style and strong sense of accountability.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Chinese proficiency is an added advantage.

• Overview full set of accounts for the Company.

• Review monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly performance reports, analysis of accounts, management/statutory reporting.

• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results and compliance with the Company’s policies and accounting standards.

• Prepare and review annual budgets, cash flow forecasts, financial projections, and monitor actual performance against budgets.

• Identify issues and make proposals to align with corporate processes and drive continuous improvement to achieve the Company’s goals.  

• Assist in implementing and monitoring operational procedures and systems.

• Ensure all regulatory reporting and filing obligations are met, including liaison with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and statutory authorities on internal and external audit matters.

• Act as custodian of Company assets and assist in controlling Company expenses.

• Perform any ad hoc assignments as assigned by immediate superior.
