Welchman Keen is an international technology advisory firm working across telecommunications, digital transformation, cybersecurity and technology policy.

Our Marketing team supports the firm's communications, thought leadership, publications and brand development across international markets.

As part of our 2027 Marketing Internship Programme, we are looking to provide aspiring graphic designers with an opportunity to gain practical experience, develop their creative thinking and work alongside experienced professionals.

About the Internship

The Graphic Design Internship offers students hands-on experience in a professional consulting environment, with opportunities to contribute to real marketing and communications projects.

Working closely with our Graphic Designer and Marketing team, the intern will be encouraged to explore creative ideas, develop practical solutions and gain a better understanding of how design supports business communications.

The internship is designed as a collaborative learning experience, combining professional mentorship with opportunities for independent thinking and creative contribution.

What You Will Work On

Depending on ongoing projects and the student's capabilities, assignments may include:

• Designing visuals for social media and digital campaigns.
• Supporting the development of presentations, reports and publications.
• Creating illustrations, infographics and visual concepts.
• Preparing creative assets for websites, digital platforms and print.
• Exploring design ideas and contributing to creative discussions.
• Working with the Marketing team to translate communication objectives into effective visual materials.

Who We Are Looking For

Students pursuing studies in graphic design, visual communication or related creative disciplines.

Ideally, candidates should have:

• Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
• An understanding of layout, typography, illustration and visual composition.
• The ability to develop visual concepts for digital and print platforms.
• An interest in creative problem-solving and visual storytelling.
• A willingness to learn, collaborate and receive constructive feedback.

A portfolio demonstrating relevant coursework, personal projects or creative work would be welcomed.

Previous professional experience is not required.

Mentorship and Professional Development

The intern will work under the guidance of Welchman Keen's Graphic Designer, with support from the wider Marketing team.

Our approach emphasizes independent thinking, creative exploration and constructive feedback rather than simply following instructions.
