Monitor and optimise manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production and compliance with production schedules.
Analyse production performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve operational efficiency.
Conduct routine inspections of production equipment and machinery to identify maintenance requirements and minimise equipment downtime.
Collaborate with the Production Planning team to ensure accurate production scheduling and efficient resource allocation.
Maintain accurate production records, equipment performance reports, and process documentation.
Support production capacity planning and process improvement projects to maximise resource utilisation.
Liaise closely with the Production, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and Engineering teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
Participate in new equipment installation, process validation, and engineering improvement projects.
Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
2.0 Requirement
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in manufacturing, production engineering, or plant operations. Experience in the metal manufacturing industry is an added advantage.
Hands-on experience in troubleshooting production and equipment-related issues.
Good understanding of quality management systems, occupational health and safety regulations, and environmental compliance.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Able to communicate effectively in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
