Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Information Technology Programmer / System Developer role based in Shah Alam. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications and internal systems that support manufacturing, inventory, and business operations. Responsibilities include analyzing user requirements, translating them into functional specifications, and implementing solutions that improve efficiency and reliability of IT systems. The Programmer / System Developer will troubleshoot system issues, perform debugging and optimization, and ensure proper documentation, version control, and adherence to company standards. The role also includes collaborating with cross-functional teams, supporting system integrations, assisting with system upgrades, and providing user training and technical support when needed.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong programming and software development skills (e.g., experience with common languages such as Java, C#, Python, or similar).
• Candidates should possess skills in database design and management (e.g., SQL, relational databases, data modeling).
• Candidates should possess skills in system analysis, requirements gathering, and translating business needs into technical solutions.
• Candidates should possess familiarity with web or application frameworks, APIs, and integration between systems.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of IT best practices, including documentation, version control, testing, and basic cybersecurity principles.
• Relevant academic qualification such as a diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Shah Alam, collaborate with manufacturing and business teams, and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Prior experience in manufacturing, automotive, or industrial environments and exposure to ERP or MES systems will be an added advantage.
